LUMAJANG – Satresnarkoba Polres Lumajang Polda Jatim kembali menunjukkan komitmennya dalam memberantas peredaran narkoba.
Dalam operasi yang dilakukan pada Senin (14/10/2024), petugas berhasil mengamankan seorang pengedar narkoba jenis sabu di Desa Kedungrejo, Kecamatan Rowokangkung, Kabupaten Lumajang.
Tersangka, yang berinisial S, ditangkap di kediamannya dengan barang bukti sabu seberat 64,41 gram.
Kasatresnarkoba Polres Lumajang, AKP Aris Harianto, menyatakan bahwa penangkapan ini berawal dari informasi masyarakat terkait adanya aktivitas mencurigakan di wilayah tersebut.
“Setelah dilakukan penyelidikan, petugas berhasil mengamankan seorang tersangka bernama S di rumahnya,” ujarnya, Rabu (23/10/2024).
Dalam penggeledahan, petugas menemukan sejumlah barang bukti penting, termasuk sabu-sabu, timbangan digital, dan berbagai peralatan yang digunakan untuk mengolah narkoba.
“Tersangka tidak dapat mengelak dan mengakui bahwa barang bukti tersebut adalah miliknya,” tambah AKP Aris.
Atas perbuatannya, tersangka dijerat dengan Pasal 114 ayat (2) sub 112 ayat (2) UU No. 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika, yang mengancamnya dengan hukuman penjara minimal 5 tahun dan maksimal 20 tahun.
Selain itu, Kasihumas Polres Lumajang, Iptu Sugiarto, mengimbau masyarakat untuk turut aktif dalam pemberantasan narkoba.
“Kami mengajak masyarakat untuk memberikan informasi kepada pihak kepolisian jika mengetahui adanya peredaran narkoba di lingkungan sekitar,” tegasnya.
Polres Lumajang berkomitmen untuk terus meningkatkan upaya pemberantasan narkoba di wilayahnya, demi menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan bebas dari peredaran narkoba.
