SITUBONDO – Dalam sebuah operasi yang dilakukan oleh Satreskrim Polres Situbondo Polda Jatim, upaya penyelundupan BBM bersubsidi jenis Bio Solar berhasil digagalkan.
Seorang terduga pelaku, SL (35) warga Paiton Kabupaten Probolinggo, berhasil diamankan dalam operasi tersebut.
Tim Resmob Satreskrim berhasil menyita sebanyak 35 jerigen atau sekitar 1.190 Liter BBM bersubsidi jenis Bio Solar dari pelaku.
Penangkapan terhadap SL dilakukan di Jalan Raya Kalianget Desa Kalianget Kecamatan Banyuglugur Kabupaten Situbondo pada Jumat, 31 Mei 2024.
Kasat Reskrim AKP Momon Suwito Pratomo, menyatakan bahwa dari hasil pemeriksaan, pelaku mengaku membeli BBM jenis Bio Solar dari seseorang yang tidak dikenal.
Pelaku bersama tiga orang lainnya berangkat untuk membeli BBM tersebut pada Kamis, 30 Mei 2024 sekitar pukul 21.00 WIB.
Pelaku mengambil BBM jenis Bio Solar sebanyak 17 jerigen di Desa Kalianget dan 18 jerigen di Desa Demung.
Namun, saat hendak menjual kembali BBM tersebut dengan harga yang lebih tinggi, pelaku tertangkap oleh Tim Resmob Polres Situbondo.
Pelaku membeli BBM jenis Bio Solar seharga Rp7.500 per liter dengan rencana menjualnya kembali dengan harga Rp9.000 per liter, yang akan memberikan keuntungan sebesar Rp1.500 per liter.
Akibat perbuatannya, SL dapat dijerat dengan Pasal 55 Undang Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 22 Tahun 2001 tentang migas.
“Dengan ancaman pidana penjara paling lama 6 tahun dan denda maksimal Rp60 miliar,” ucap AKP Momon Suwito Pratomo.
Barang bukti BBM subsidi jenis Bio Solar beserta pelaku saat ini diamankan di Mapolres Situbondo untuk proses penyidikan lebih lanjut.
