JEMBER – Sebanyak 36 Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) dan Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Syariah (BPRS) di bawah pengawasan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) Jember mengadakan Evaluasi Kinerja Semester II Tahun 2023 di Convention Hall Hotel Grand Mercure Solo, Senin (6/5/2024).
Hadir dalam pertemuan ini Direksi dan Komisaris dari 36 BPR/S yang berada di bawah pengawasan OJK Jember.
Kegiatan evaluasi kinerja ini merupakan salah satu bentuk perhatian konkret OJK Jember terhadap perkembangan industri BPR di wilayah Sekar Kijang.
Agenda tahunan kali ini mengangkat tema “Mendorong Daya Saing BPR/S melalui Penguatan Pengelolaan Aset Produktif”.
Dalam kegiatan evaluasi ini, OJK memberikan paparan mengenai perkembangan kinerja BPR hingga semester II 2023, evaluasi pencapaian roadmap Pengembangan BPR/S 2021-2025 di wilayah Sekar Kijang, evaluasi kesiapan penerapan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan Entitas Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (SAK EM) bagi BPR, serta isu-isu terkini yang terkait dengan aspek regulasi maupun dinamika industri perbankan.
Terkait evaluasi ini, Kepala OJK Jember, Hardi Rofiq Nasution, dalam sambutannya menyampaikan bahwa hingga akhir tahun 2023, perekonomian Jawa Timur menunjukkan pertumbuhan sebesar 4,95%.
Sejalan dengan hal tersebut sektor keuangan di Jawa Timur mencatatkan kinerja yang positif, tercermin dari peningkatan volume usaha perbankan yang mencapai 6,45%.
“Kinerja positif perbankan di Jawa Timur tersebut, tidak terlepas dari peran serta industri BPR di wilayah Sekar Kijang yang pertumbuhan aset, DPK, dan kreditnya masing-masing mencapai 4,68%, 4,62%, dan 4,17%,” ucap Hardi.
Selain itu, fungsi intermediasi BPR di wilayah Sekar Kijang cukup baik dengan rasio Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) sebesar 75,81%. Risiko kredit BPR tergolong cukup tinggi, tercermin pada rasio Non-Performing Loan (NPL) sebesar 11,30%, namun rasio kecukupan modal BPR masih tergolong memadai untuk menyerap dampak risiko tersebut dengan Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) sebesar 44,17%.
“Dengan kegiatan evaluasi ini diharapkan setiap tahun ada peningkatan signifikan dengan penerapan yang jelas, yaitu aset produktif,” ujar Hardi.
Tidak hanya itu, OJK berharap kepada pengurus BPR di wilayah Sekar Kijang untuk memperhatikan potensi peningkatan jumlah kredit bermasalah dengan senantiasa memantau secara ketat, karena perkembangan kualitas kredit yang disalurkan.
Khusus untuk BPR yang rasio NPL-nya telah mencapai lebih dari 5%, OJK mewajibkan BPR untuk menyusun langkah-langkah penyelesaiannya yang komprehensif dan realistis dalam sebuah rencana tindak.
