JEMBER – Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Jember akhirnya mengambil langkah konkret untuk menyelesaikan polemik tenaga honorer dengan membentuk Panitia Khusus (Pansus) non-ASN, Selasa (18/2/2025).
Keputusan ini diambil setelah banyaknya keluhan yang disampaikan para pegawai honorer yang hingga kini belum mendapatkan kejelasan terkait status dan hak mereka.
Wakil Ketua DPRD Jember, Fuad Akhsan, menyatakan bahwa pembentukan Pansus ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari berbagai laporan yang masuk.
Bahkan, belum lama ini puluhan honorer datang langsung ke DPRD untuk meminta nasib mereka diperjuangkan.
“Seperti kita tahu, keluhan soal pegawai honorer ini sudah sering kita dengar, bahkan terakhir ada puluhan honorer yang datang ke DPRD agar nasibnya bisa diperjuangkan, maka kami bentuk Pansus berdasarkan usulan dari beberapa fraksi,” ujar Fuad.
Fuad menjelaskan bahwa masalah pegawai honorer terlalu kompleks untuk ditangani oleh satu komisi saja.
Oleh karena itu, dibentuknya Pansus diharapkan bisa menjadi solusi yang lebih menyeluruh.
“Karena jika melihat permasalahan ini bisa lebih dari satu komisi, maka kami setujui Pansus ini. Apalagi ini menyangkut hajat hidup orang banyak dan itu perlu kami perjuangkan,” kata politisi PKB itu.
Lebih lanjut, Fuad menyampaikan bahwa Pansus akan bekerja untuk mencari solusi terbaik agar pegawai non-ASN dapat diakomodasi dengan baik oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Jember.
“Nanti akan dibahas di Pansus mulai dari nasib non-ASN ini bisa diakomodir dengan mencari solusi terbaik entah pihak ketiga atau bagaimana, kita lihat kerja dari Pansus,” jelasnya.
Dengan terbentuknya Pansus ini, DPRD Jember berharap dapat menyelesaikan berbagai persoalan tenaga honorer, mulai dari status mereka yang belum jelas hingga gaji yang masih tertunggak.
“Saat ini juga sudah bisa bekerja, maka saya berharap Pansus segera bisa menyelesaikan nasib ribuan non-ASN ini yang selama ini seperti tidak ada kepastian,” pungkas Fuad Akhsan.
