SITUBONDO – Sebuah kebakaran melanda rumah milik Amir (56) di Kampung Locancang, Desa Paowan, Kecamatan Panarukan, Kabupaten Situbondo, Rabu (16/10/2024).
Insiden ini terjadi sekitar pukul 08.30 WIB ketika pemilik rumah sedang berada di sawah.
Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam insiden tersebut, namun kerugian materiil ditaksir mencapai Rp75 juta.
Menurut keterangan saksi, Gatot Suryadi (61), api pertama kali terlihat dari tiang kabel listrik di bagian depan atap rumah.
“Saya lihat percikan api di kabel listrik, awalnya tidak curiga. Tapi setelah 30 menit, api sudah membesar,” ujar Pak Gatot.
Bersama warga lain, ia berusaha memadamkan api dengan peralatan seadanya sebelum akhirnya dua unit mobil pemadam kebakaran dari BPBD Situbondo tiba di lokasi.
Kepala BPBD Kabupaten Situbondo melalui tim Pusdalops dan TRC BPBD melaporkan bahwa dugaan awal penyebab kebakaran adalah korsleting listrik, namun kepastian penyebab masih dalam penyelidikan pihak kepolisian.
Upaya pemadaman selesai dilakukan sekitar pukul 10.00 WIB, tanpa ada korban luka.
“Pemadaman berjalan lancar dengan bantuan masyarakat dan tim pemadam kebakaran. Kami juga akan melakukan tahap Jitupasna untuk mengkaji kebutuhan pasca bencana serta penyaluran bantuan logistik,” ujar perwakilan BPBD Situbondo.
Bangunan permanen seluas 10×10 meter milik Amir mengalami kerusakan berat.
Beberapa barang seperti TV, kulkas, dan perabotan lainnya juga hangus terbakar.
BPBD akan terus melakukan koordinasi dengan berbagai pihak, termasuk Kecamatan Panarukan dan Dinas Sosial, untuk bantuan lebih lanjut.
Meskipun kondisi cuaca cerah berawan saat kejadian, warga diimbau untuk lebih waspada terhadap potensi kebakaran yang disebabkan oleh masalah listrik di musim kering ini.
