PONOROGO – Kepolisian Resor (Polres) Ponorogo berhasil membongkar tiga kasus perjudian online jenis togel yang terjadi selama bulan November 2024.
Pengungkapan kasus ini disampaikan oleh Kasat Reskrim Polres Ponorogo, AKP Rudy Hidajanto, dalam konferensi pers di Aula Wengker Polres Ponorogo, Rabu (4/12/2024).
Dalam pemaparannya, AKP Rudy menjelaskan rincian setiap kasus yang melibatkan lima tersangka dari beberapa wilayah di Ponorogo.
Kasus pertama terjadi di Poskamling Desa Bajang, Rabu, 6 November 2024, sekitar pukul 22.00 WIB.
Polisi menetapkan seorang pria berinisial M alias Pentol (65), warga Dukuh Butung, Desa Bajang, sebagai tersangka.
“Ia dijerat Pasal 303 ayat (1) ke-2 KUHP tentang perjudian, dengan ancaman hukuman penjara hingga 10 tahun atau denda maksimal Rp25 juta,” ujar AKP Rudy.
Kasus kedua kembali melibatkan dua tersangka lainnya, yakni R (56) dan DR alias Sidol (74), yang juga warga Desa Bajang.
“Mereka dijerat dengan Pasal 303 ayat (1) ke-2 KUHP dan Pasal 303 Bis ayat (1),” jelas AKP Rudy.
Ancaman hukuman yang dihadapi kedua tersangka sama, yaitu penjara maksimal 10 tahun atau denda maksimal Rp25 juta.
Kasus ketiga diungkap pada Rabu, 14 November 2024, di sebuah warung Desa Jarak, Kecamatan Siman.
Tersangka berinisial MY (45), warga setempat, diduga mengelola perjudian online melalui situs “Pangeran Toto3” dengan nama akun jenggot77.
“MY dijerat dengan Pasal 45 ayat (3) Jo Pasal 27 ayat (2) UU No. 1 Tahun 2024 tentang ITE serta Pasal 303 ayat (1) ke-2e KUHP. Ancaman hukumannya juga mencapai 10 tahun penjara,” ungkap AKP Rudy.
Kapolres Ponorogo, AKBP Anton Prasetyo, turut menegaskan komitmen pihaknya dalam memberantas segala bentuk perjudian, khususnya yang memanfaatkan teknologi.
“Kami berkomitmen melakukan pengawasan dan penindakan tegas agar Ponorogo bebas dari tindak pidana perjudian, yang selaras dengan program Asta Cita Bapak Presiden Prabowo,” tegasnya.
Upaya Polres Ponorogo ini mendapat apresiasi dari masyarakat.
Mereka berharap langkah tegas tersebut mampu menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih aman dan kondusif tanpa gangguan praktik perjudian.
